The host closes the site down
SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: the pompeypunks site is being closed down by the hosts. . . on the 23rd jan you will no longer be able to login to your account. . I have scraped as much of it as I can and will be posting updates about more details re the future of the site over the next week. I fully recommend that you visit your account (you may not be able to login, I'm trying to resurrect this at the moment) but it is there, so if you want to save any blog posts or conversations, please do. . . I am archiving the photos and will be adding them to your new account on the new site when it is finished.
I'm sorry for this rude interruption by the hungry money grabbing company who host it (they want $1000/mth!) the DIY punk attitude will win true. . . Please pass this on to anyone you know with an account on the site. hxFrom the Facebook page · #

punk by the sea fallout, can you help? . . . .
"OK.. not sure if you know this but I was the event manager of the Buzzcocks gig on the pier 2011.. remember the barriers? The ones that we'rent quite up to a 500 strong mosh pit? Well, they were mine.. actually, I borrowed them from a good friend as the Promoters had nothing.. well, those barriers dissappeared with the cooks.. so now I have nothing for Gosport Punkfest, and also have to try replace them as my friend has politely reminded me he needs them soonish.
So,Does anyone have any I could use for this years Punkfest? think UK SUBs & 200 punks.. we need a barrier! lol. Let me know. Whoever can help, I will help in some way , be it tickets or something else.
Apart from that the gig is looking goooood. :o) Pinky.
Ps.. thanks for all the support you lot ;o) X"From the Facebook page · #
